A non-refundable deposit of one-third of your package price secures your spot, with the remaining balance divided into two equal payments, the second due two months after your deposit and the final payment two months after that. The payments will be automatic from the card you used at checkout so no action on your behalf is required.

The security deposit is non refundable under all circumstances. For anything paid beyond that, refunds depend on how much notice you give before the retreat: cancel more than 60 days out and everything you've paid beyond the deposit is refunded; cancel between 30 and 60 days out and half of that amount is refunded; cancel within 30 days and no further refund is issued and any remaining balance is still due. Your package includes accommodation, ballet technique classes, strength & conditioning, artistry classes, mindset coaching, full spa and pool access, a group cooking class, a half-day excursion, daily chef-prepared meals, a welcome gift bag and photos/videos throughout your stay. Additional treatments like massages, facials, pedicure and Reiki are available for an extra fee of 140€ per 60 minutes. You can pay by card or cash one day before departure.

Yes there is. All participants must be 18 or older to attend the retreat.

We ask that participants to have a look at the demo class provided above. The intermediate level will be very similar to the demo class, while the advanced intermediate will include more volume in terms of jumps, turns and a harder solo during the artistry classes. The solo will be sent to the participants ahead of the retreat ( about 2 weeks before ) so they could get familiar with the steps and the musicality. 

While not mandatory, travel insurance is highly recommended. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance to cover unexpected events such as loss of income, medical or personal emergencies for you or someone dear to you before and during the trip, a death in the family, natural
disasters and any other unforeseen events. Please make sure that your insurance policy covers you
for all activities you will be engaging in during the retreat. Face The Barre & Terzo Di Danciano take no responsibility for the participants health upon arrival or during the retreat. By booking, participants confirm they are medically and physically able to take part in the activities involved. All participants will need to sign a liability waiver on the behalf of Terzo Di Danciano (the villa) and Face The Barre upon arrival.

We do accommodate for dietary restrictions. Just let us know about any allergies or dietary needs when you book or at least 30 days before the retreat by emailing [email protected] and stating your first & last name.

We offer a shared bus from Florence Airport, the most affordable option, at €100 round-trip. It departs at 14:00 on either September the 3rd for the intermediate retreat or September the 11th for the advanced intermediate retreat and leaves at 10:30 on either September the 10th for the intermediate retreat or September the 18th for the advanced intermediate retreat. We recommend flying into Florence the day before to catch it comfortably. To ensure that you'll be Let us know if you'd like a seat and we'll bill you separately. You're also welcome to arrive by rental car, there is free parking at the property. Bring your usual ballet attire, comfortable clothing for training (socks are fine for strength & conditioning) and stretching, swimwear & flip flops for the pool and spa, something a little smarter for evenings and a light jacket or layer for cooler moments. Do not forget your chargers and any other important personal items. There will be towels & a  bathrobe for each participant. You'll also find a hairdryer, shower gel & shampoo in the bathrooms so no need to bring those unless you have specific preferences (please bring your own conditioner if you use it). 

Activities like the group cooking class and the half-day excursion are optional, if they're not for you, that's completely fine. Ballet classes are a different story: since this is a ballet retreat, we do expect full participation in the technique, strength & conditioning and artistry sessions. Of course, if you're feeling unwell or need to sit a class out, that's completely understood.

Official arrival time is between 15:30-16:00 and the welcome dinner starts at 18:30. Arriving late is possible, though you may miss the welcome gathering and depending on how late, dinner as well. So we do recommend arriving on time. Departure is set for 10:30am on the final day and unfortunately we're unable to accommodate late check-outs as the villa needs that time to prepare for the next group's arrival.
